“La Masse” Anthony Dizy, 34, of Reims, Champagne-Ardenne, France is the most recent French mixed martial artist to join Hexagone MMA. Launched in 2021, the French MMA promotion has partnered with DAZN and is broadcasting in more than 150 countries.
Dizy has been signed by Hexagone MMA for a multi-fight deal. His promotional debut will be at “Hexagone MMA 9” at the Reims Arena in Reims on June 17, 2023.
The opponent has yet to be announced. It will be in the lightweight division.
“Throughout my entire career, I have never had the opportunity to fight in France let alone in Reims, my home city,” Dizy shared. “I was thinking of retiring but Hexagone MMA’s proposal changed my mind. I am very happy to sign with the organization and eager to show what I am worth.”
In 2012, Dizy made his professional MMA debut. He made his Bellator MMA debut in 2014, his Cage Warriors debut in 2017 and his M-1 Challenge debut 1n 2019.
In 2021, Dizy won one of his two Professional Fighters League fights. In 2022, he went on hiatus.
Currently, Dizy holds a professional MMA debut of 14 wins and 4 losses. He previously competed in Greco-Roman wrestling.
“I was looking for local fighters for the Reims event,” Hexagone MMA matchmaker and sport director Mathieu Nicourt said. “We had been talking for a while with Anthony Dizy and in conversation, he told me that he was tempted to fight again in his home city. I am very happy to have convinced him to sign for a multi-fight deal.”
