    • Daniel Penny can best be described as a “good Samaritan” (a Marine Seargent /a Veteran) who acted in self-defense and the defense of other passengers on the F train (that day).

It is TRAGIC that Jordan Neely ..(a deranged homeless man & drug abuser, w/ a LONG history of violent outbursts & erratic confrontations w/ strangers on the New York City subway system) .. DIED.

In the RECENT confrontation that took Mr. Neely’s life .. at least 3 passengers, including Daniel Penny .. struggled to restrain him.

OTHER passengers called 911 , even before the CONFRONTATION; other passengers helped put Mr. Neely in the “recovery” position AFTER he passed out. THERE is eyewitness testimony from passengers on the F train .. to what happened , .. before WHAT is shown on “the video”.
