Christian LaCour of Nevada, Collin County, Texas, United States has died. He was 20.

LaCour is Tracye LaCour‘s son, Brianna Smith‘s brother and Sandra Montgomery‘s grandson. He worked as a security guard at the Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Collin County.

On May 6, 2023, Christian was an on-duty security guard at the Allen Premium Outlets when Mauricio Garcia, 33, of Dallas, Texas parked a gray sedan there and stepped out of the vehicle. Armed with an AR-15-style rifle and dressed in black tactical gear, the latter opened fire at the mall, shooting Christian and 14 others.

Seven of the 15 victims survived. The eight others, including Christian, were killed.

The youngest survivor is 5 years old. The oldest one is 61.

A male Allen Police Department officer who was at the mall on an unrelated assignment at the time heard gunfire and rushed toward it. He fatally shot Garcia outside an H&M store at the mall.

Garcia was also a security guard. He was staying in an extended stay hotel in Dallas.
