Hailing from Florida, United States, William Thomas Worth, 71, is a U.S. citizen based in the Philippines. He and his Filipino girlfriend Mila Narcisco Loslos, 48, lived together in Santero Subdivision, Barangay Habay 1, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines.

Loslos allegedly claimed that she was single. According to Worth, he gave her 1 million pesos ($18,000) for her expenses and he noticed that the money was being spent suspiciously.

When Worth found out that Loslos had a husband and a child, he allegedly confronted her. He allegedly fatally strangled her after she slipped and hit her head during the confrontation.

Loslos is the mother of Niño Jay Narciso Loslos, 21, of Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, Philippines. He last saw her on May 5, 2023 and after not hearing from her for days, he went to the Bacoor City Police Station to report her missing.

Officers told Niño to first ask Mila’s roommate of her whereabouts. At around 1:30 a.m. on May 9, 2023, he visited her residence in Santero Subdivision and found Worth there.

According to Niño, Worth claimed he did not know where Mila was. After smelling a foul odor inside the residence, Niño went back to the Bacoor City Police Station.

When officers went to Worth’s residence in Santero Subdivision, he told them he had no idea where Mila was. He later admitted to killing her and pointed to the officers where he hid her body.

The officers found Mila’s body inside a blue plastic drum stored inside a cupboard in the residence and arrested Worth. The Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit later recovered three knives and a nylon rope in the crime scene.

Covered with packing tape, Mila’s body was bloated and sealed in a garbage bag and duct tape inside the drum. She had multiple wounds across her body.

Based on the autopsy report, Mila died due to asphyxia. She was killed on either May 6, 2023 or May 7, 2023.

On May 10, 2023, Worth underwent inquest proceedings. He is facing a murder charge and is currently under the custody of the Bacoor City Police Station.
