The Miss Ohio USA 2023 coronation night will take place at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth, Ohio, United States on May 20, 2023. It is the 72nd edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Ohio’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, Ohio has 23 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Sue Downey in 1965 and Kim Seelbrede in 1981 and the first runner-up finish on Halle Berry in 1986. Representing the state, Sir’Quora Carroll was third runner-up to Miss USA 2022 R-Bonney Gabriel, who went on to win Miss Universe 2022.

Representing Franklin County, Carrol was 23 when she was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2022 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on May 21, 2022. The respective first, second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Kiyasia Hudson of Lorain County, Emily Quinn of Goodyear Heights, Carolina Reinoso of Columbus, Olivia Miller of Oakley and Allison Greenwood of St. Clairsville.
