Henry Edwin Hale was an American man born in Cannon County, Tennessee, United States to William Nathan Hale and Lillie Turney Hale. After Lillie’s death, William married Mary Pauline Cooley Hale.

William and Mary have five children together. She gave birth to Mary Ruth Hale in 1927, John William “Leroy” Hale in 1928, Hallie Hale in 1936, Fred Louis Hale in 1942 and Winfred Timothy “Tim” Hale in 1949.

Henry and his wife Audrey Christine Burnette Hale have two sons and one daughter. Here are 10 more things about him:

  4. On May 24, 1921, his mother died at age 30.

On March 27, 2023, Henry’s grandson Audrey Elizabeth Hale opened fire inside  The Covenant School n Green Hills, Nashville, killing six people. Later that day, Audrey was fatally shot by police officers.
