The Memphis Grizzlies hosted the Phoenix Suns at FedEx Forum in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, United States on the evening of November 24, 2023. Kevin Durant, 35, was out for the matchup due to right foot soreness.

The Phoenix Sun’s injury report released on the evening of November 23, 2023 did not include Durant’s injury. It was only included on the morning of November 24, 2023.

Born in Washington, D.C., USA, Durant made his National Basketball Association debut in 2007 with the Seattle SuperSonics, which was renamed Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008. He joined the Golden State Warriors on July 7, 2016 and the Brooklyn Nets on July 7, 2019.

On February 9, 2023, the Brooklyn Nets traded Durant and T.J. Warren to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Cameron Johnson, Jae Crowder and Mikal Bridges. On March 1, 2023, Durant made his Phoenix Suns debut.
