Mary Jane Santa Ana Guck was a Filipino-German-American actor born in Angeles, Philippines. She never saw her German-American father, who was part of the U.S. Armed Forces and stationed at Clark Air Base in Angeles.

Guck’s sister Lorraine McCollum is a former actress professionally known as Veronica Jones. Their mother Rosalinda Santa Ana was a bar singer.

Professionally known as Jaclyn Jose, Guck played a mother with underground meth business in Brillante Mendoza‘s “Ma’Rosa”. For this role, she became the first ever Southeast Asian actor to win Best Actress at the Cannes Film Festival on May 22, 2016 in Cannes, France.
