Ann Sidney is a British actor, television host and beauty queen based in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. She represented the United Kingdom in Miss World.

Sidney was born in Poole, Dorset, England, U.K. to George Sidney Sr. and Gladys Sidney, Ann attended Martin Road School and Martin Kemp-Welch Secondary School, which are both in Poole. George and Gladys have a son named George Sidney Jr.

  1. In 1963, she won Miss Front Page in Bournemouth, Dorset where Bruce Forsyth, then 35, served as a judge. While married to Penny Calvert, he told her he was separated and wooed her and they started dating.
  2. On November 12, 1964, she represented the U.K. at Miss World 1964, competed against 41 other candidates at the Lyceum Ballroom in London, England and won the title. On November 19, 1965, she went back to the Lyceum Ballroom in London to crown her successor Miss World 1965 Lesley Langley.
