On April 1, 2024, a man was found dead in Hamilton. Garcia-Gutierrez was identified as the suspect and was arrested by Hamilton Police Department officers.
The identity of the victim has yet to be released. His death was ruled a homicide.
Investigators believe that Garcia-Gutierrez acted alone in the homicide. He was charged with aggravated murder.
