“Hard Miles” is a sports drama film directed by R.J. Daniel Hanna. It hit theaters in the United States on April 19, 2024.
On the same day, Monkeywrench Records and Republic Records released “Dark Matter“. It is the 12th studio album of the rock band Peal Jam.

Hannah was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and raised in Arkansas, USA. He wrote the screenplay of “Hard Miles” with Christian Sander, who produced the film.
Loma Linda, California, USA native Matthew Modine plays the lead character, a beleaguered coach named Greg Townsend. The coach rallies a group of disgruntled teenage inmates of a correctional facility for a transformative 762-mile bicycle ride from Denver, Colorado, USA to the Grand Canyon, a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona, USA.
A young version of the character is played by Jaxon Goldenberg. Also in the cast are Cynthia McWilliams, Damien Diaz, Jackson Kelly, Jahking Guillory, Judah Mackey, Leslie David Baker, Sean Astin and Zach Robbins.
On June 13, 2023, the film had its world premiere at the Benton Film Festival in Bentonville, Arkansas. It was screened at the Heartland International Film Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA in July 2023 and the Chicago International Film Festival in Chicago, Illinois, USA in October 2023.
On February 19, 2024, Baker turned 66. On March 22, 2024, Modine turned 65.
