Donnie Gray Lee, 36, of Mount Vernon, Fairfax County, Virginia, United States has legally changed his name to George Washington. He was recently arrested in Loudoun County, Virginia.
“8 long years without a phone call,” Washington wrote on Facebook on June 14, 2023. “It’s been rough but getting better each and everyday making a new life in Virginia.”
On Facebook, Washington still uses his birth name. On September 22, 2023, he wrote, “Attention Friends and Family My Legal Name is No Longer Donnie But George and My Last Name is No Longer Lee but Washington and I will be going home in short notice in November or December.”
During the week of April 8, 2024, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office worked with the Northern Virginia-Washington DC Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force to conduct a sting operation. The aim was to target child sex predators.
During the operation, Washington and five other men were caught chatting with who they thought were children under age 15. Unbeknownst to the six men, they were actually communicating with undercover detectives.
After allegedly trying to have sexual relationships with minors at locations in Loudoun County, the six men were arrested. Washington was charged with using communication systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children and attempting indecent liberties with a minor.
The other suspects are Yotin Singtong, 39, of Bethesda, Montgomery County, Maryland, USA, Rodney Stevens Martin, 62, and Miguel Angel Ibarra Parada, 36, of Sterling, Loudoun County and Julio Camajuare Cisneros, 66, and Kodee Michael Matz, 23, of Herndon, Fairfax County. Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Secret Service, the Virginia State Police, the Fairfax County Police Department , the Herndon Police Department and the police department of Prince William County, Virginia were also involved in the operation.
