- At around 10:40 a.m. on August 21, 2022, he allegedly spat on the manager of the Kountry Xpress convenience store in Mulberry and threatened to cut off the manager’s face. Mulberry Police Department officer Thell Riddle and two Crawford County Sheriff’s Office deputies Zackary King and Levi Garrett White were caught on camera violently arresting him outside the store. After the arrest, he was taken to a hospital for examination and treatment. In the afternoon, he was booked into the Crawford County Detention Center in Van Buren, Arkansas.
- On August 22, 2022, he was released after posting $15,000 bail.
- On August 29, 2022, his lawyers filed a federal lawsuit on his behalf against Riddle, King and Garrett, Crawford Country sheriff Jimmy Damante, Mulberry Police Department chief Shannon Gregory, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and the Mulberry Police Department.

He absolutely deserved to be arrested and with force but the relentless punches to the head and raising his head up and slamming it into the concrete were actions of total brutality. To condone that, you must be barbaric yourself. I can’t imagine someone watching brutality on that level and not feeling outrage.
