Richard James “Richie” Fletcher III is an American man from Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. He is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.

It was at Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis where Fletcher first met Eliza Wellford Fletcher. They lived in Central Gardens, Memphis with their two sons.

On October 28, 2024, he pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping for the kidnapping and murder of Eliza.
