Nurmagomedov’s brother Usman Nurmagomedov is also an MMA fighter. From April 7, 2018 to March 19, 2021, their cousin Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov (Хабиб Абдулманапович Нурмагомедов) was the lightweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
