Automobili Lamborghini made a splash at the Monterey Car Week 2026 with the global debut of the Lamborghini Revuelto SV at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering at the Quail Lodge and Golf Club in Carmel, California, United States. The new flagship super sports car carries forward the iconic Super Veloce (SV) designation—a legendary lineage that originated 55 years ago with the Miura SV. Positioned as the most powerful and fastest production vehicle ever constructed in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the Revuelto SV pushes high-performance hybridization to its technical limits.
Taking place across various venues on the Monterey Peninsula in California, the Monterey Car Week 2026 started on August 7, 2026. It will conclude with the 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance at the The Lodge at Pebble Beach in Pebble Beach, California.
Uncompromising power, engineering precision
At the core of the Revuelto SV is an upgraded V12 plug-in hybrid architecture. Pairing a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with a trio of upgraded electric motors and a 7.3 kWh battery pack, the powertrain produces a combined system output of 1,065 horsepower (1,065 CV) and 1,425 Nm of torque. This allows the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 345 km/h.
To complement its elevated output, engineers overhauled the vehicle’s aerodynamic profile and dynamic setup. The SV features GT3-derived manually adjustable dampers, redesigned carbon-ceramic CCM-R brake discs, and advanced active aerodynamics that yield an 80 percent increase in overall downforce compared to the standard Revuelto. Ahead of its official reveal, the car demonstrated its track credentials by establishing a production car lap record of 1:41.6 at Germany’s Hockenheimring.
Scarcity as a core strategy
Automobili Lamborghini chairman and chief executive officer Stephan Winkelmann emphasized that the model delivers pure driving engagement while maintaining intense market exclusivity. Production of the Revuelto SV will be strictly limited to 1,963 units worldwide—a direct homage to the year the company was founded. Reserved primarily for the brand’s most loyal collectors and enthusiasts, this restricted volume reinforces Lamborghini’s strategy of scarcity to preserve strong brand equity and high residual values.
Along with exclusive exterior liveries, exposed carbon fiber accents, and customized center-lock wheels, buyers can access extensive customization options through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam personalization program.
