The 2022 Philippine general election is scheduled for May 9, 2022, to elect the 17th president and various government officials, excluding barangay officials. A total of 98 presidential candidates filed their candidacy between October 1-8, 2021. The official candidate list will be released by the Commission on Election in January 2022.
