Barış Manço was a prominent Turkish singer, songwriter, and actor born in Istanbul. He formed several bands, began his career in 1962, and achieved widespread success with notable albums in the 1980s. Manço also hosted a television show and was known for his distinctive style. He passed away suddenly in 1999 at age 56.
