Gloria Diaz, the first Filipina Miss Universe, was born in La Union, Philippines. She has two daughters and an adopted son. Diaz began her acting career after winning beauty pageants and has received multiple awards for her roles. She turned 73 in April 2024 and continues to participate in pageants.
