Emina Ekić won the Miss Universe Slovenia title on October 7, 2017. The pageant was inactive from 2018 to 2024, resuming on September 3, 2025, where Hana Klaut was crowned. Klaut will represent Slovenia at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand, building on Slovenia's previous participation history.
