Known for playing Aquaman/Arthur Curry in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, Jason Momoa will be one of the celebrity guests of Wizard World Comin Con Philadelphia 2018. The conference will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention in Center City, Philadelphia on May 17-20 2018.
Momoa’s “Justice League” co-stars Ray Fisher, Ezra Miller and Michael Rosenbaum are attending the conference, as well. Also in the roster of celebrity guests are “Lord of the Rings” stars Sean Astin and Billy Boyd, “Arrow” star Stephen Amell, “Captain America” star Sebastian Stan, “Game of Thrones” actress Natalie Dormer, “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Dave Bautista, “Stargate: Atlantis” stars Joe Flanigan, and Jewel Staite, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star Charisma Carpenter, “Charmed” star Holly Marie Combs and “American Pie” star Thomas Ian Nicholas.
Amell will attend on May 18, 2018 only while Momoa and Bautista will attend on May 19, 2018 only, according to the Philadelphia Sunday Sun. Stan, Dormer, Fisher and Astin will be present on both days while Boyd will be present from May 18-20, 2018.
Momoa is set to star in “Aquaman,” which is set to hit theaters on December 21, 2018. Directed by James Wan, the superhero film also stars Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Athena, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Ludi Lin as Murk, Michael Beach as Jesse Kane, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta and Kaan Guldur as young Arthur.
On the small screen, Momoa played Khal Drogo in “Game of Thrones” from 2011 to 2012. In October 2018, he will reprise his role as Declan Harp in “Frontier” Season 3.
