Saemapetch Fairtex vs Deividas Danyla at ‘ONE: Battle for the Heavens’ in Guangzhou, China

ONE Championship has announced the complete fight card for “ONE: Battle for the Heavens,” which will take place at the Guangzhou Tianhe Gymnasium in Guangzhou, China on July 7, 2018. The seventh bout of the evening will be between Saemapetch Fairtex, 23, of Thailand and Deividas “The Savage Sitsongpeenong” Danyla, 26, of Lithuania.

Both Saemapetch and Danyla are making their ONE Championship debut at “ONE: Battle for the Heavens.” Their bout is one of the two striking-only matches on the ONE Super Series card.

Saemapetch and Danyla will battle it out in a Muay Thai contest in the bantamweight division. There is currently no champion in the division.

Currently, Saemapetch has a professional record of 116 wins, 14 losses and 1 draw. On the other hand, Danyla has 46 wins and 10 losses.

Danyla is a Lithuanian Muay Thai Champion. While he is from Europe, he trains at the Sitsongpeenong gym in Phuket, Thailand.

The other ONE Super Series bout at “ONE: Battle for the Heavens” is a kickboxing contest between Andre “The Giant” Meunier, 42, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and Ibrahim “Mr. Cool” El Bouni, 25, of Morocco. They will compete at a catchweight of 105 kg.

“ONE: Battle for the Heavens” will be headlined by Yodcherry Sityodtong, 19, of Thailand and Kai Ting “Killer Bee” Chuang, 23, of Taiwan, who will compete for the inaugural ONE Super Series Kickboxing Atomweight World Championship. It will be the 10th bout of the evening.
