Truong Ngoc Tinh represented Vietnam at Manhunt International 2017 at the Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theatre in Bangkok, Thailand on November 27, 2017. He competed against 36 other models and won.
Runner-up to Truong was Kongnat Choeisuwan of Thailand. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Gaetan Osman of Lebanon, Mohamed Wazeem Cammar of Sri Lanka and Andry Permadi of Indonesia.
Manhunt International 2018 contestants
On December 2, 2018, Truong will crown his successor at the QT Gold Coast Ballroom, Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It is the 19th edition of the international male model search based on the Gold Coast.

In 1993, Manhunt International was established through a partnership between Rosko Dickinson of Australia and Alex Liu of Singapore. Thomas Sasse of Germany won the inaugural edition of the competition
Dickinson is currently the president of Manhunt International. Liu passed away in January 2018.
