Aaron Chesley Bray III was a resident of Blue Springs, Union County, Mississippi, United States. He has two brothers namely Mark Bray and Steve Bray.

A third generation dry cleaner, Aaron III was born at Fort Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA to Aaron Chesley Bray, Jr. and Phyllis Ann Pomy Bray. In 1945, Aaron Jr.’s father Aaron Chesley Bray Sr. established Bray Cleaners in Bruce, Mississippi.

In 1960, Aaron Jr. established Aaron’s Cleaners in Houston, Mississippi. A few years later, he opened another location in Aberdeen.

In the early 1980s, Aaron III started to rebuild dry cleaning equipment on the side and formed close business relationships with One Hour Martinizing in Tupelo, Mississippi and Dryve Cleaners in Memphis, Tennessee, USA and served as a consultant to Deluxe Cleaners in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. He formed Aaron’s Equipment Sales offering machinery rebuilds, parts, service, equipment packages and plant layouts to customers in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Aaron III and his wife Nancy Bray have two sons namely Toney Sheldon Bray and Jon Aaron Bray and a daughter named Georganna Bray. Here are 13 more things about Aaron III:

  1. In 1971, he graduated from Houston High School in Houston.
  2. In 1973, he and Nancy got married at The Immaculate Heart Of Mary Church in Houston.
  3. On April 22, 1983, his mother died in Tupelo at age 51.
  4. In 1988, he relocated his family to Memphis to open an Aaron’s Equipment Sales showroom. In 1990, the company was purchased by The Johnson Group.
  5. In 1991, he became the manager of maintenance at Al Phillips The Cleaner in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
  6. In 1995, he purchased Classique Cleaners in Nashville, Tennessee and relocated his family there. 
  7. In 2004, he purchased White Way Cleaners in Nashville where he continued to expand pickup and delivery routes and worked closely with The Drug Court Program, providing jobs and training for men and women while they were in the program.
  8. He owned Chesley The Cleaner in Nashville, which was destroyed by flood in 2010.
  9. From 2013 to 2016, he worked at Lowe’s and continued dry cleaning consulting.
  10. In 2016, he and Nancy relocated to Seattle where they worked at Blue Sky Cleaners with their sons Sheldon and Jon.
  11. In 2017, he was diagnosed with cancer.
  12. In May 2018, he and Nancy purchased their sanctuary in Blue Springs where he completed many indoor and outdoor projects. 
  13. On January 18, 2019, he died in Blue Springs. He was 65.
