Today marks the 130th week of “Spring Day” by BTS on the weekly chart of Melon, the largest music site in South Korea. The song was recorded by the K-pop boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment with seven members namely Kim Seok Jin, 26, Min Yoon Gi, 26, Jung Ho Seok, 25, Kim Nam Joon, 24, Park Ji Min, 23, Kim Tae Hyung, 23, and Jeon Jung Kook, 21, whose respective stage names are Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook.

Big Hit Entertainment released “Spring Day” on February 13, 2017. It was the first single from the repackaged version of the album “Wings,” the second Korean-language studio album.

Suga and RM co-wrote “Spring Day” with “Pdogg” Kang Hyo-won, 35, ‘Adora” Park Soo Hyun, 22, “hitman bang” Bang Si Hyuk, 46, Arlissa Ruppert, 26, and Peter Ibsen. The song won the Best Song of the Year award at the 2017 Melon Music Awards, which took place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea on December 2017.

A day before the 130th week of “Spring Day” on Melon, Big Hit Entertainment announced that the performance of BTS in the 29th family concert of Lotte Duty Free at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena (KSPO Dome) in Seoul on August 11, 2019 “will mark the last scheduled event before the members prepare to take their vacations.” Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook will individually take a short break to “enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s” and are expected to “return refreshed and recharged.”

Also on August 11, 2019, BTS received awards during the 2019 Teen Choice Awards ceremony in Hermosa Beach, California, United States. The group was named the Choice International Artist beating Blackpink, CNCO, EXO, Little Mix and NCT 127.

In addition, “Boy with Luv” by BTS featuring Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, 24, who is mononymously named Halsey, won the Choice Collaboration awards. It was the lead single of the K-pop boy band’s sixth extended play titled “Map of the Soul: Persona.”

RM, J-Hope, hitman Bang, Suga and Pdogg co-wrote “Boy with Luv” with Melanie Fontana, Michel “Lindgren” Schulz, Emily Weisband and Ashley Frangipane. Here is the music video:
