Denmark’s Nicolas Dalby earns 2nd UFC win, decisions Brazil’s Alex Oliveira at ‘UFC Fight Night 160’

Nicolas “Lokomotivo” Dalby, 34, of Copenhagen, Denmark was one of the winners at “UFC Fight Night 160.” It was the Danish mixed martial artist’s second victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The UFC held “UFC Fight Night 160,” also known as “UFC on ESPN+ 18,” at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. The fight card featured 13 MMA bouts.

In the eighth bout of the evening, Dalby fought Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira, 31, Tres Rios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the welterweight division. Rebin Saber served as the referee.

After three five-minute rounds, the welterweight contest was left in the hands of the three judges, who all scored it 29-28. In the end, Saber raised the hand of Dalby, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Winning at “UFC Fight Night 160” improved the professional MMA record of Muradov to 18 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, Oliveira now has 19 wins and 8 losses.

“Honestly, it will take a while for this win to sink in,” Dalby said after his “UFC Fight Night 160” win. “I’m so relieved and excited.”

“I was able to perform tonight because of my fiancé and daughter,” the Copenhagen native continued. “They give me so much support and love. I honestly couldn’t have done it without them.”
