Egypt and Canada’s Tariq Ismail earns 1st Brave CF win at ‘Brave 27’ in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Training out of Bazooka Kickboxing and MMA in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Tariq “Desert Storm” Ismail, 29, of Egypt was one of the winners at “Brave 27.” It was his first victory in the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion Brave Combat Federation.

Brave CF held “Brave 27” at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates with 10 MMA bouts. In the fourth bout of the evening, Ismail fought Jalal Al Daaja, 32, who is training out of Gladiator MMA in Amman, Jordan,

With Marc Goddard served as the referee, Al Daaja and Ismail competed in the bantamweight division. After three five-minute rounds, the bantamweight bout was left in the hands of the judges.

In the end, Goddard raised the hand of Ismail. The Egyptian-Canadian contender was declared the winner via unanimous decision.

Winning at “Brave 27” improved the professional MMA record of Ismail to 5 wins and 0 loss. On the other hand, Al Daaja now has 6 wins and 5 losses.

In the main event of the evening, Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Amman, Jordan regained the Brave Combat Federation Welterweight World Championship title. He dethroned Abdoul “The Conqueror” Abdouraguimov, 23, of Nantes, France.

In the co-main event, Alex Martinez, 25, of Paraguay and Canada maintained his undefeated professional MMA record. He knocked out Anas “The Moroccan Sensation” Siraj Mounir, 33, Morocco  in the lightweight division.
