Polish mixed martial artist Maciej “MagicMan” Gierzewski, 32, of Lebork, Poland and John “Trouble” Brewin, 24, of Auckland, New Zealand will headline “Brave 28” on November 4, 2019. This marks the second Brave Combat Federation bout of the former.

Currently based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Gierszewski made his Brave CF debut at “Brave 24” in London, England on July 25, 2019. He knocked out Cian “The Warrior” Cowley, 25, of Dublin, Ireland.

“I wanted to go right back into it but I had to wait a little bit more,” Gierszewski stated. “It all worked out in the end and promotions like Brave CF honor these things and they make you feel important.”

“It doesn’t matter where you are located in a fight card,” Gierszewski continued. “You are always treated very well. I’m very happy.”

Like Gierszewski, Brewin is coming out of a victory of Cowley. The Kiwi MMA fighter defeated the Dublin native at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Gierzewski and Brewin will battle it out in the lightweight division at “Brave 28.” They are both vying for a shot to the Brave CF Lightweight Championship, which is currently held by Cleiton “Predator” Silva, 33, of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

“You can hear the mumblings in the background, in the stairs about title shots for the winner of this bout,” Gierzewski said. “John Brewin has been vocal about deserving a shot if he beats me so it’s only natural for me to think the same thing but I don’t want to go too far into the future and I have a job to do on November 4th.”

Featuring nine MMA bouts, “Brave 28” will take place in Bucharest, Romania. It will be held simultaneously with “RXF 36” of Romania-based MMA promotion Real Xtreme Fighting.

“Romania is another place where the big organizations have been missing but it’s full of talent and has immense room for growth,” Brave CF president Mohammed Shahid said. “I can’t wait for BRAVE CF to land in Bucharest for an unforgettable event alongside our partners at RXF and the start of something special for MMA, BRAVE CF and Romania.”
