Tukkatatong Petpayathai, 31, of Thailand has earned his third victory in ONE Championship’s striking-only league ONE Super Series. The Thai martial artist was one of the winners at “ONE: Masters of Fate.”
Featuring 10 MMA matches and three Muay Thai contests, ONE Championship held “ONE: Masters of Fate” at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 8, 2019. In the fourth bout of the evening, Tukkatatong fought Hiroaki “Kaibutsukun” Suzuki of Japan in a Muay Thai match in the bantamweight division.
Atsushi Onari served as the referee of the featherweight contest. It was an exciting back-and-forth affair between the two strikers.
Tukkatatong scored with his body kicks. After three three-minute rounds of action, Onari raised the hand of the Thai contender, who was declared the winner via split decision.
Winning at “ONE: Masters of Fate” improved the professional Muay Thai and kickboxing record of Tukkatatong to 243 wins, 33 losses and 2 draws. On the other hand, On the other hand, Suzuki now has a professional Muay Thai and kickboxing record of 41 wins, 13 losses and 1 draw.
Including Thailand and Japan, 15 countries were represented at “ONE: Masters of Fate.” The others were Brazil, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Finland, France, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, South Korea, the United States and Vietnam.
Suzuki was one of the three fighters who represented Japan. He is representing Bellwood Fight Team.
Tukkatatong was one of the five representatives of Thailand. He trains out of Evolve MMA in Singapore.
It was Suzuki’s third ONE Super Series bout. It was the fourth outing of Tukkatatong in the league.
