8 Miss Universe 2020 candidates crowned before COVID-19 pandemic

The new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused the postponement of many beauty pageants all over the world like all entertainment events. Several national pageants scheduled from March 2020 to April 2020 to select candidates for Miss Universe 2020 had to be postponed to help stop the spread of the virus.

What the COVID-19 pandemic has done and is still doing to mankind is causing irreversible changes. But there will be traditions that are expected to go on after this pandemic such as the coronation of Miss Universe every year.

Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, 26, of South Africa is expected to crown her successor in December 2020 and by then, the COVID-19 outbreak is expected to be over.
