Sok Thy, 22, of Cambodia finally earned his first victory in ONE Super Series after three consecutive losses in ONE Championship’s striking-only league. The Cambodian martial artist was one of the winners at “ONE: A New Breed” in Bangkok, Thailand.
Featuring three mixed martial arts and four Muay Thai fights, “ONE: A New Breed” took place in Bangkok on August 28, 2020. In the second bout of the evening, Thy fought Huang Ding, 22, of China in a Muay Thai bout in the flyweight division.
Thy was aggressive to start the contest, attacking with a good mix of kicks and boxing combinations. A right hook to the sternum hurt Huang, causing a delayed reaction as the Chinese athlete crumpled to the ground.
Huang failed to beat the count and Thy was awarded the stoppage victory. Here are the details:

Thy was the second fighter to defeat Huang in ONE Super Series. When the Chinese fighter made his debut in the league, he lost to Fahdi “The Gladiator” Kahled, 25, of Tunisia.
