Wondergirl Fairtex, 21, of Thailand was one of the winners at “ONE: A New Breed” in Bangkok. The Thai mixed martial artist earned her second victory in the Singapore-based martial arts promotion ONE Championship.

Featuring three MMA and four Muay Thai fights, “ONE: A New Breed” took place in Bangkok on August 28, 2020. In the fourth bout of the evening, Wondergirl fought KC “Pinay Fight” Carlos, 33, of the United States and the Philippines in a Muay Thai bout in the women’s strawweight division.

In the first round, Wondergirl was relentless in her forward movement, peppering Carlos with straight punching combinations and step-through elbows. In the second round, a slicing elbow did considerable damage to the Filipino-American contender’s nose.

Not long after, Carlos and her corner signaled to the referee that she could no longer continue. Here are the details:

On the other hand, Carlos made her ONE Super Series debut at “ONE: A New Breed.” She has been competing professionally since 2014.
