‘The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants’ to premiere on DreamWorks

'The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants'

The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants” will premiere on December 7, 2020 at 6:55 p.m. (PHT) on DreamWorks. The series is based on the epic novels by Dav Pilkey and is executive produced by Peter Hastings of “Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.”

Across a series of action-packed episodes, “The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants” is centered around George Beard and Harold Hutchins, two best friends who have bonded through their love of pranking, comic books and being the thorns in Principal Krupp’s side. The pair constantly get mixed up in fun-filled adventures crazier than their beloved comic books, which is when they have to call on their greatest creation called Captain Underpants.

George and Harold regularly get caught up in all sorts of mischief. Together, they turned their French teacher into the toilet paper mummy and their science teacher into a giant avocado monster and transformed the school’s mysterious student into a giant clay monster and their new Spanish teacher into a superhero.

The imaginative TV series will bring an endless supply of laugh-out-loud jokes, loveable characters and explosive hijinks. It will join a line-up of fan favorite shows on DreamWorks, including “The Boss Baby: Back in Business,” “Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny,” “Trolls: The Beat Goes On!” and “Denver the Last Dinosaur,” which premiered on November 16, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. (PHT). “Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed!” will be launched on DreamWorks on December 7, 2020 at 5:15pm (PHT).

Dedicated to kids and family entertainment, DreamWorks is the 24-hour channel of NBCUniversal International Networks. It was founded on October 12, 1994 and is headquartered in Glendale, California, United States.
