Viviana Vizzini, 27, has been crowned as Miss Universe Italy 2020. She is a model, a social media influencer and a presenter from Sicily, Italy.
Hosted by Vladimir Luxuria and Simone Di Pasquale, the Miss Universe Italy 2020 coronation night was held at the Studi Televisivi Gold in Via Giacomo Peroni 150 in Rome, Italy on December 21, 2020. Including Vizzini, 36 candidates competed for the title.
Vizzini was crowned by Miss Universe Italy 2019 Sofia Trimarco. The latter was unplaced at Miss Universe 2019.
The Miss Universe 2020 coronation night is reportedly taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on February 14, 2021. The Miss Universe Organization has yet to confirm this.
Born on June 6, 1993, Vizzini has two brothers named Simone Vizzini and Giovanni Vizzini. From Sicily, she moved to London, England then to Spain.
Eventually, Viviana relocated to Milan, Italy to pursue a career in fashion. She has been a catwalk model since 2009.
On September 20, 2020, Viviana was crowned Miss Universe Sicily 2020 in Giarre, Catania, Sicily. She represented Caltanisetta, Sicily.
The newly crowned Miss Universe Italy 2020 speaks Italian, Spanish and English. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and she also attended Università Telematica eCampus in Novedrate, Italy.
Viviana will be the 68th woman to represent Italy at Miss Universe. If she wins Miss Universe 2020, she will be the international beauty pageant’s titleholder from her home country.
Representing Italy, Daniela Bianchi and Roberta Capua almost won Miss Universe by being the first runner-up in 1960 and in 1987, respectively. Also representing the country in the international beauty pageant, Rossana Galli was fourth runner-up in 1956 and Cinzie De Ponti was second runner-up in 1982.
