Who is Omar Felix Cueva?

Omar Felix Cueva lived in different parts of the United States including California and New Mexico. He was the man who killed New Mexico State Police officer Darian Jarrott.

Between 2000 and 2010, Cueva was charged in California with possession of a controlled substance twice, importation of a controlled substance three times, writing a fake check and burglary. He lived in Deming, Luna County, New Mexico. He did not have a criminal history in New Mexico.

  1. In June 1994, he was found guilty of vandalism.
  2. In June 2000, he was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance.
  3. In September 2001, he was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance again.
  4. In October 2002, he was accused of knowingly and intentionally importing approximately 37 pounds of cocaine into the U.S. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to prison time and supervised release.
  5. In April 2004, he was found guilty of importation of cocaine.
  6. In August 2006, he was found guilty of writing a fictitious check, writing a false check and burglary.
  7. In March 2007, he was found guilty of probation violation.
  8. In March 2008, he was found guilty of importation of a controlled substance again.
  9. In September 2010, he was charged with possession with intent to distribute crystal methamphetamine in California, USA.
  10. In October 2010, he and two other men were accused of knowingly and intentionally possessing several pounds of methamphetamine with intent to distribute the drug.
  11. In August 2011, he pleaded guilty to three counts of using a cellphone to facilitate a drug offense and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
  12. On February 4, 2021, he was driving his white Chevrolet pickup truck from Deming to Las Cruces, Doña Ana County, New Mexico when he was pulled over on Interstate 10 as part of an operation by the State Police and Homeland Security Investigations. Wearing a bulletproof vest, he fatally shot Jarrott, led other officers on a chase that ended on I-10 in Las Cruces and shot a Las Cruces Police Department officer. Multiple officers fired back and fatally shot him. He was 39.
  13. On April 9, 2021, it was revealed that he had agreed to surrender a rifle to police but instead fatally shot Jarrott in the back of the head.

  1. Omar Felix Cueva was born a piece of garbage – he should have died at birth, but unfortunately this animal lived for 39 years! He contributed nothing to society – may he burn in hell till the end of time!

    1. As unbelievably hard as a concept this might be, pray for both their souls, Jarrot, and Cueva!!! God did not create Cueva a a mistake, a piece of garbage to be thrown away and burned in the eternal fires of Hell, but made Him in His (God’s) own image like you and me!…Cueva, like all of us, was born innocent and congenial, affable, amicable, capable of great love and kindness…a clean slate! You have nooooo idea of the evil marks/remarks made to him and upon him from his earliest childhood, teenage years, to make him turn out the way he did! You have no idea of the hurt, lack of love and lack of kindness he possibly, and most likely happened to him while growing up! Jesus forgave and converted Saul, who became Paul, one of the greatest Saints of Christianity…Before his (Paul’s) conversion he murdered many innocent Christians!!! Too, God, forgave King David, who ordered Bathsheba’s husband murdered so he (David) could have his wife, for his own!!! How are these last 2 person’s finally any different than Cueva, and his action(s)? Christ, Himself, told us that by what measure we measure to another (by how you judge them) the same shall be meted (measured/judged) out to you!!! Jesus, Himself, prayed to His Father to forgive all those that beat him and put him to death, on a cross; who were murdering Him!!! All sin, no matter how small in our own eyes, is worthy of the same eternal damnation that you are wishing upon Cueva!!! If that is your final judgement upon Cueva…who and how will you be defended, before the judgement seat of Christ/God, on Judgement Day for the sins you, yourself, have committed??? By the words of the prayer that Jesus, Himself taught us, namely, the “Our Father”, are you not, have you not CONDEMNED YOURSELF TO “HELL” by YOUR OWN WORDS, and COMPLETE LACK OF “FORGIVENESS”, and “MERCY” YOU ARE SHOWING TOWARDS, CUEVA??? (…”FORGIVE US/ME OUR/MY TRESPASSES/WRONGS THAT I HAVE COMMITTED AGAINST OTHERS AS WE/I FORGIVE THOSE WHO TRESPASS AGAINST US/ME (WHO DO, HAVE DONE ME WRONG!!!)…

      Can you imagine/picture a small, defenseless good natured puppy being kicked and maltreated throughout it’s earlier years becoming a mean and dangerous dog because of the way it was treated? How is Cueva, or any other person who hurts another, any different??? Without God’s grace WE ARE ALL CAPABLE OF DEGENERATING INTO A “CUEVA”!!! AND COMMITTING THE SAME “HEINOUS” ACTIONS!!! CHRIST CAME, LIVED AND DIED FOR THE SPIRITUALLY SICK/DEAD AMONG US!!!…FOR THE “CUEVAS” AMONG US!!! IF CUEVA HAD “NOT” BEEN ILL/MAL TREATED THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE, AND HAD TRULY COME TO KNOW AND LOVE GOD HE WOULD BE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON,.. A GREAT SAINT(LIKE SAINT PAUL)…AND NOT BE THE PIECE OF GARBAGE YOU SENTENCE, TODAY, TO BURN IN HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY!!! HE AND JARROT …AND YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN THE VERY BEST OF FRIENDS!!!       2. Gee, I think what I said ran off you like water off a duck’s back…I’m guessing you, yourself, had someone write some ugly, permanent graffiti on your clean slate growing up! Am I wrong? Unbelievable “HATE” jumps off the page from your words…your heart?!…You seem to revel,or take pride in the fact of being born, a sinner! No newborn ever came out of the womb wielding a rifle or knife; with a ready attitude and desire to use one on another! Yes, we all are infected with original sin, a condition, a disease, a weakness, a handicap that, by its very nature, continually propels and steers us towards a potential, ever present/alluring darker side,…sin,…evil, in the eyes of God! And all have a potential, propensity, proclivity to commit sin if not properly checked, instructed, guided, nourished and counseled away from giving in to our weakened, sinful nature…into our lower, base desires/passions!…All the while being taught, loved, supported and reaffirmed by Godly/Saintly examples to lead us, and protect us from all that is spiritually, physically harmful, hurtful to ourselves, and others! ….Before any of us come into an awareness of the world around us we all have the unbridled desire to explore and learn about anything, and everything we see and hear about! That is what leads, or causes us to want to stick our finger into a light socket, or touch a hot stove! But, a most important part of God’s original design for mankind’s education and introduction to the world included being loved and raised by those much older, and experienced than ourselves, with good hearts, with His grace, and good sense of right and wrong to gently teach us, admonish us, and steer us away from hurtful things, hurtful ideas and desires…Do you honestly think that Omar Felix Cueva was raised in that way?…according to God’s original design, for him? And, how about you? Were you blessed to be raised that way? Just guessing, but the hateful speech and desire for his ultimate demise leads me think that you didn’t have it, either! Not intending an insult to you;…just a profoundly sad, and unfortunately very real, negative cause and effect of one’s behavior, good or bad, on another, which has produced the world, that much resembles “Hell”, we see and experience, today! If people only knew love, how to love, care and nourish one another do you, in all honesty, think there would be “1” Omar Felix Cueva among us??? Or “1” single person wishing, like yourself, for the complete and utter demise of their fellow human being??? Now, if all you can bring back to the table is more hate and insults, don’t bother; to spew the same poison, the same hate towards me that you condemn in Cueva is only indicative of a small, juvenile mind…(think Jr. High)…

If you knew anything about what YOU’RE talking about you would know there is a theological difference between being a potential sinner and an actual sinner…A baby, while having the disease of “original sin” passed on to it, by its parents (parents pass on to it the “potential” to commit sin) IS BORN “INNOCENT” OF ANY AND ALL “ACTUAL” SIN! An example would be, a saintly person is someone who loves God and keeps His Commandments…and avoids sin! That person is a “POTENTIAL” SINNER, BUT COMMITS NO “ACTUAL” SIN!…

  9. I would like to thank State Trooper Darian Jarrott for his service and may God take care of him. I also would like to send prayers to his wife and young children. Cueva was a monster and served no good use to society. He contributed nothing and introduced nothing but misery to all the drug users he provided drugs to. I agree with the sentiments of all who wish him an eternity of pain and suffering…he soul deserves worst…I hope he didn’t leave us with any offspring to contend with

  10. It’s harder for an 18 year old in the US to buy alcohol than it is to buy a weapon that travels 2800 ft per second when fired. The vest had no chance of helping him at that range. There’s so many things that have to change…. where do we start???? I feel terrible for his family.

  12. Tim you are no one to stand here and tell us what God ever had in mind when Cueva was born. Surely Officer Jarrott was not well informed about who this bastard was and surely God is a bloodthirsty. just look at how nature has been organized where animals eat each other. there are too many guns in the US and the cops risk their lives as if we were in the third world. there seems to be no solution. dying like this is normal in the US
