Daniil Sergeyevich Medvedev (Дании́л Серге́евич Медве́дев) is a Russian professional tennis player currently based in Monte Carlo, Monaco. He speaks Russian, French and English.
Medvedev was born in Moscow, Russia to Sergey Medvedev and Olga Medvedeva. Daniil has two sisters namely Julia Medvedveda and Elena Medvedveda.
Aside from playing tennis, Daniil also enjoys playing the guitar and harpsichord. He studied economics and commerce at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (Московский государственный институт международных отношений) in Moscow but he dropped out so he could focus on tennis and later went to the Russian State University of Physical Education, Sport, Youth and Tourism (Российский государственный университет физической культуры, спорта, молодёжи и туризма) in Moscow where he received his diploma as coach.
