2011-2021 Cebuana beauty queens in major international pageants

Cebuana beauty queens have been dominating beauty contests in the Philippines in the past few years. Some of them extended their domination in the top six international beauty pageants namely Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Grand International and Miss Supranational.

The Philippines’ Miss Universe 2021 and Miss World 2021 candidates are from the same city. Both hailing from Cebu City, Philippines, Beatrice Luigi Gomez was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2021 in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines on September 30, 2021 and Tracy Maureen Perez, 28, was crowned Miss World Philippines in Olongapo City, Philippines on October 4, 2021.

The Miss Universe winning steak of the Philippines started in 2010 when Camarines Sur’s Maria Venus Raj became fourth runner-up. That year, Cebu City’s Jam Charish Libatog was not able to win one of the three titles in Binibining Pilipinas, which was the country’s franchise holder of Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International.

Cebu City’s Sian Elizabeth Maynard was one of the Miss Philippines Earth 2010 runners-up. On December 31, 2012, the late Rizzini Gomez of Cebu City was crowned Miss Tourism International 2012.

On December 31, 2013, Angeli Dione Gomez of Cebu City was crowned Miss Tourism International 2013.
