Northern Africa has eight countries namely Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia and Western Sahara. The region has three main geographic features namely the Nile River and delta in the east, the Atlas Mountains in the west and the Sahara desert in the south.
Algeria, Libya, Mauritania and Western Sahara are collectively known as the Maghreb. The sub-region also includes the Spanish cities Ceuta and Melilla.
The countries of North Africa share a little bit of cultural, ethnic and linguistic identity with the Middle East. Here is the 2021 list of the 10 most handsome living men of Northern African descent, born in the African region or living in the region:
