Miss Northern Ireland 2021 Anna Leitch, 27, of Lisburn, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom will soon crown her successor. It will be the 42nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Northern Ireland’s Miss World candidate.
Northern Ireland currently has 10 Miss World placements including one win. Representing the European country, Shauna Marie Gunn won the title in 1995.

On March 16, 2022, Leitch competed against 39 other quarterfinalists during the Miss World 2021 coronation night at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She finished in the Top 6 and won the Miss World Europe 2021 title.
