Miss Universe Bolivia 2021 Nahemi Uequin, 21, of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia will crown her successor in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on July 16, 2022. It is the 46th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Bolivia’s Miss Universe and Miss World candidates.
Currently, Bolivia has three Miss Universe placements. Representing the South American country, Olga del Carpio finished in the Top 15 in 1964, Rosario del Toro finished in the Top 6 in 1990 and Desirée Durán finished in the Top 10 in 2006.
In Miss World, Bolivia has five placements. Representing the South American country, Brita Cederberg and Ana Maria Taboada finished in the Top 15 in 1982 and 1983, respectively, Carla Morón finished in the Top 10 in 1995, Helen Aponte finished in the Top 20 in 2003 and Andrea Forfori finished in the Top 25 in 2014.
Uequin was crowned Miss Bolivia Universo 2021 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra on August 28, 2021. On the same day, Fernanda Rivero of Beni was crowned Miss Bolivia Mundo 2021.
There are 25 women competing for the Miss Bolivia Universo 2022 and Miss Bolivia Mundo 2022 crowns. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 10 candidates:
