Lee Hojin (이호진) represented South Korea at Man of the Year 2019, competed against 15 other candidates in Yangon, Myanmar on September 22, 2019 and won the title. He held the title until 2022 amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
On August 21, 2022, Lee crowned his successor Dominik Chabr of the Czech Republic in Bali, Indonesia. A total of 22 men were originally listed as candidates but only 14 arrived in Bali to compete for the title.
