Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye “Cindy” Palasík Obeñita, 26, of Misamis Oriental, Philippines will crown her successor at the Meraki Resort in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt on October 14, 2022. It is the 50th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Egypt.
Obeñita is the second Miss Intercontinental from the Philippines. The first one is Karen Gallman, who was crowned in 2018.
Competing against 73 other candidates, Obeñita was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2021 at the Hotel SUNRISE Diamond Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh on October 29, 2021. The respective first, second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Paulina Uceda Escorcia of Mexico, Romy Simpkins of England, Kelly-Mary Anette of Seychelles, Kaitlyn Li of Canada and Maria Paula Castillo Lopez of Colombia.
