Hasbulla Magomedov, 19, of Dagestan, Russia attended “UFC 280” at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 22, 2022. In the main event, his fellow Dagestani Islam Makhachev, 31, become the Ultimate Fighting Championship‘s new lightweight champion by submitting Charles “do Bronx” Oliveira, 33, of São Paulo, Brazil.
After the event, Magomedov confirmed that he is going to Bahrain to attend a BRAVE Combat Federation event. He will be a special guest at “BRAVE CF 65” at the Khalifa Sports Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on October 28, 2022.
The new UFC Lightweight Champion is not the only Russian MMA fighter Magomedov is friends with. The teenager is also close to Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov, 34, of Dagestan and Eldar Eldarov, 31, of Khunzakh, Russia.
Nurmagomedov is a former UFC Lightweight Champion. Currently based in Bahrain, Eldarov has been reigning as the BRAVE CF Super Lightweight Champion since April 19, 2019.
“The Pride of Bahrain” Hamza Kooheji, 29, of Manama, Bahrain and “El Burro” Eduardo Mora, 31, of Bogota, Colombia will headline “BRAVE CF 65”. They will battle it out in the featherweight division.
“BRAVE CF 65” will be co-headlined by “Shorty” Jose Torres, 30, of Chicago, Illinois, United States and “The Palestinian Samurai” Izzeddine Al Derbani, 34, of Amman, Jordan. The match is in the bantamweight division.
Torres competed in the UFC in 2018 and joined BRAVE CF in 2019. Al Derbani makes his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 65”.
