Aaron Franklin Brink is a professional mixed martial artist fighting out of San Diego, California, United States. He is 6’3″ tall and he competes in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions.

Born in Newport Beach, California, Brunk attended Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, California. He was expelled for fighting.

Using the alias Dick Delaware, Brink is also an adult film actor with longstanding drug abuse issues. Here are 13 more things about him:

  1. From 1989 to 1992, he was in and out of juvenile detention centers on eight occasions. He was later was arrested for smuggling marijuana from Mexico to the U.S. and was sentenced to time at Federal Correctional Institution Terminal Island in Los Angeles, California.
  2. In 1998, he was released from FCI Terminal Island and was reunited with Tito Ortiz, an old friend from high school who encouraged him to enter MMA. In the same year, he made his professional MMA debut.
  3. In 1999, he married Laura Voepel. Her father Randy Voepel became the mayor of Santee, California in 2000 and a California assemblyman in 2016.
  4. In 2000, Laura gave birth to their son Nicholas Franklin Brink. When he made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut at “UFC 28” on November 17, 2000 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA, he was submitted via armbar by Andrei Arlovski.
  5. In 2001, he became the International Fighting Championships Light Heavyweight Champion. In September 2001, he and Laura divorced.
  6. In 2002, he became the Hitman Fighting Productions Heavyweight Champion.
  7. From 2003 to 2016, he starred in numerous adult films.
  8. In 2007, he married his fellow adult film actor Cassandra Cruz, also known as Vanessa Brink.

He allegedly tried to shoplift a BB Gun at a Sportsman’s Warehouse in Rocklin. He was also charged for violation of parole and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  12. On June 9, 2019, he defeated Cody Sons via technical knockout via punches at “California Cage Wars 13” in Valley Center, California, which improved his professional MMA record to 29 wins and 27 losses.
  13. He was 48 years old when his son, formerly named Nicholas, fatally shot five people in Club Q in Colorado Springs on November 19, 2022 and wounded 25 others. On November 22, 2022, he told CBS 8 that he is Mormon. He said, “You know Mormons don’t do gay. We don’t do gay. There’s no gays in the Mormon church. We don’t do gay.”
