Lago Vista, Texas’s Ricardo Quinones arrested in Columbus, accused of shooting Lindsey Quinones in Georgetown

Lindsey Whitman Quinones of Georgetown, Williamson County, Texas, United States has died. She was 31.

Originally from Austin, Travis County, Texas, Quinones was a home stager. She was the owner of Kure Staging and Design.

Quinones was the estranged wife of Ricardo Quinones, 38, of Lago Vista, Travis County. They have one daughter and one son together.

At around 2:52 a.m. on December 27, 2022, the Georgetown Police Department received a 911 call from Ricardo and Lindsey’s daughter. According to the teenage girl, her father had a weapon and was holding her and her mother hostage.

Georgetown Police Department officers arrived and tried to negotiate with Ricardo. During the negotiation, he allegedly fatally shot Lindsey and fled the house while their daughter escaped the house through a window and into police custody.

Later that day, Ricardo was arrested without incident at an AT&T store parking lot in Columbus, Colorado County, Texas and booked into the Colorado County Jail in Columbus. In the evening, he was extradited to Williamson County.
