Kyle Michael Reinbolt, 24, of Bascom, Seneca County, Ohio, United States is a police officer in Fostoria, Ohio. Kevin Crowe, 27, of Bowling Green, Wood County, Ohio is a newly hired employee of Lake High School in Millbury, Wood County.
In September 2022, Reinbolt conducted a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a drug trafficking suspect and confiscation of enough fentanyl to kill everyone in Fostoria twice. He has also been conducting special covert operations as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force program, a network of 61 coordinated task forces.
The U.S. Department of Justice‘s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention created the ICAC program in 1998. Since the program’s inception, it has reviewed more than 1,452,040 reports of online child exploitation that resulted in the arrest of more than 123,790 suspects.
On February 20, 2023, Crowe joined Lake High School as a new assistant track and field coach. On February 21, 2023, Reinbolt attended the regular city council meeting of Fostoria where the Fostoria Police Division named him the Officer of the Year for 2022.
Reinbolt was recognized for his work that involved arresting and charging 15 different sexual predators. Posing as a child, he contacted several suspects including Fostoria residents Randall Rock, 41, James Williams, 39, Mark Ward, 32, Chase McDonald, 30, and Allen Heacock, 27, and Ryan Eligon, 23, of Bowling Green.
On February 24, 2023, Crowe traveled to Fostoria to meet with a person who he thought was a minor to engage in sexual conduct. Instead, he was arrested while he was carrying his Lake High School track coach identification card.
Crowe was charged with importuning and attempted sexual conduct with a minor. His arrest was part of another ICAC investigation led by Reinbolt.
