Dr. Parminder S. Jaswal, 61, of Saginaw, Saginaw County, Michigan, United States is a family medicine specialist. He attended Punjabi University and Government Medical College, which are both in Patiala, Punjab, India.

Affiliated with Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, Jaswal is an expert in sports medicine, diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, advanced skin car and adult medicine. In 1997, he obtained his medical license in Michigan, which was supposed to expire in 2025.

In 2019, the Genesee County Sherriff’s Office in Genesee County, Michigan created the Genesee Human Oppression Strike Team (GHOST). On March 1, 2023, the team conducted an operation involving a sheriff’s deputy posing as a 15-year-old girl on an online platform.

Jaswal and three other men separately traveled to a location within Genesee County, expecting to have sex with the teen. They were arrested by GHOST officers.

Throughout that day, Jaswal engaged in graphic conversation with the undercover deputy. He sent photos of his genitalia, which investigators believe were taken in his office in Saginaw and sent between seeing patients.

From Saginaw, Jaswal drove to Genesee County and brought with him Coca-Cola drinks, Oreo cookies and wine coolers with a plan to have sex with who he thought was an underage girl for $200. He was intrigued because the undercover deputy had braces, which was one of the things that attracted him.

When Jaswal arrived at the location, he grabbed and physically assaulted the undercover deputy, who was not injured. On March 5, 2023, the doctor was charged with fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, using a computer to commit a crime, sending child sexually abusive material and accosting a child for immoral purposes.

On March 6, 2023, Jaswal posted a $170,000 bond and was freed from jail. His case is set for a probable cause conference on March 16, 2023.
