Stephanie Danielle Woods, 28, is employed by the Northside Independent School District, which is headquartered in Leon Valley, Bexar County, Texas, United States. He is a biology teacher and a basketball and tennis coach at Warren High School in San Antonio, Bexar County.

In 2022, Woods allegedly started having an inappropriate relationship with a female student, then 17. Beginning that year, the student had been in the teacher’s home multiple times, according to the student.

During those times the student was in Woods’ home, the student told her family she was staying with a friend. A female friend of the student later told a therapist about the relationship between the student and the teacher.

The therapist reported the alleged crime to the police. The student allegedly sent numerous text messages to the friend who told the therapist about the relationship to the Child Protective Services and try and get the case dropped to prevent Woods from being arrested or fired.

Police officers questioned the student, searched her phone with her permission and found a photo that showed her inside Woods’ home. On May 5, 2023, the teacher was placed on administrative leave.

On May 11, 2023, Woods turned herself in to law enforcement. She was charged with improper relationship between an educator and a student.
