Ecuador currently has three Miss Universe placements including the second runner-up finish of Constanza Baez in 2013. Representing the South American country, Lucia Vinueza finished in the Top 12 in 1981 and Susana Rivadeneira finished in the Top 10 in 2004.
The winner of Miss Ecuador represented Ecuador in Miss Universe from 1955 to 1961, from 1968 to 1969 and from 1975 to 2023. On July 1, 2023, Delany Stoffers was crowned Miss Ecuador 2023 at the Recinto Ferial “Alfonso Torres Ordoñez” in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ecuador.
Miss Universe Ecuador 2024
The Miss Universe Ecuador 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at the Parque Zoila Ugarte de Landívar in Machala, El Oro, Ecuador on June 8, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Ecuador’s Miss Universe candidate.
There are 25 women competing for the Miss Universe Ecuador 2024 crown. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:

If Espin wins Miss Universe Ecuador 2024, she will make history as the first beauty queen to compete in Miss Universe after winning Miss Earth. On August 8, 2016, she was appointed Miss Earth Ecuador 2016.
On October 29, 2016, Espin represented Ecuador at Miss Earth 2016 and competed against 82 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines . She won the title.
Espin is the second Miss Earth from Ecuador. Representing the country, Olga Alava competed against 83 other Miss Earth 2011 candidates at the United of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila on December 3, 2011 and won the title.
