Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw, 23, of Baguio City, Philippines and Brave Combat Federation Welterweight World Champion Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Amman, Jordan have the most bouts in Brave Combat Federation. Both mixed martial artists have fought in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion eight times.
Training at Team Lakay under the tutelage of Mark “The Machine” Sangiao, Pacatiw will solely represent the Philippines at “Brave 29” at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on November 15, 2019. This will make the Igorot MMA fighter the athlete with the most Brave CF bouts, surpassing Al-Selawe.
“Brave 29” will feature 15 professional MMA fights including the three KHK World Championship matches. One of the fights on the card is a bantamweight bout between Pacatiw and Ali “The Royal Fighter” al-Qaisi, 29, of Jordan.
Born on May 7, 1996, Pacatiw has been competing professionally since 2015. His Brave CF debut at “Brave 2: Dynasty” at the Khalifa City Sports Arena on December 2, 2016 was not successful. He earned his first two victories in the promotion at “Brave 5: Go for Glory” in Maharashtra, India on April 22, 2017 and at “Brave 8: The Rise of Champions” in Curitiba, Parana, Brazil on August 12, 2017.
Pacatiw then had two consecutive losses. He was knocked out by Jalal Al-Daaja, 31, of Amman at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions” at the Khalifa City Sports Arena on November 17, 2017 and lost via unanimous decision to Kaan Ofli, 26, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018.
The Igorot MMA fighter then redeemed himself by scoring three consecutive wins. He won via decision at “Brave 14” in Tangier, Morocco on August 18, 2018 and at “Brave 17” in Lahore, Pakistan on October 27, 2018 and via submission at “Brave 22: Storm of Warriors” in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 15, 2019.
Currently, Pacatiw holds a professional MMA record of 9 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, al-Qaisi has 7 wins and 3 losses.
While “Brave 29” marks Pacatiw’s ninth Brave CF bout, it will be Al-Qaisi’s third outing in the Bahrain-based MMA promotion. Here is a clip featuring the Team Lakay fighter:
